High School Musical stars Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have topped a list to find the cutest celebrity couple of 2008.

The young actors play sweethearts in the popular Disney franchise but are also real-life girlfriend and boyfriend.

They graced many a red carpet together this year while promoting High School Musical 3: Senior Year and are clearly smitten with each other as they were pictured cuddling up at a Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks game in LA yesterday.

Zac proved his heavenly boyfriend credentials recently when he treated Vanessa to a romantic day out in celebration of her 20th birthday by turning up to her house early in the morning carrying a huge bouquet of flowers and a gigantic present.
