Pete misses Kate's big moment
As hundreds of eager shoppers crowded round the window of Topshop's flagship store on Oxford Street yesterday for the launch of Kate Moss's new fashion collection, it seems that Pete Doherty was the only one missing.
Fans of the fashion icon had been queuing since noon to get first pick of the clothing, and were limited to buying just five items.
Laura Weir, senior reporter for fashion publication Drapers, told the BBC: "Like her or not, a bulk of young female shoppers in the UK want to buy into the Kate Moss look and what she represents."
The supermodel delighted her fans by posing as a mannequin in the shop window in a red maxi dress of her own design, but her fiance missed Kate's moment of triumph.
The Babyshambles frontman reportedly had to journey to a clinic in the Midlands in order to receive a new implant which will hopefully help him to conquer his heroin addiction.
