No-one likes to be rejected, but it seems that rapper Kanye West is less capable than most of taking a knock-back with grace.

The hip-hop star reportedly got one of his assistants to call Sugababe Amelle Berrabah after the 21-year-old Brit turned him down at the MTV Europe Awards last month.

Amelle told the Daily Mirror that he had approached her at the awards in Copenhagen and told her to go to his hotel room later on.

The pretty singer said that she politely told him that "it wasn't going to happen", but the super-confident rapper was apparently furious at being rejected and made sure his assistant let her know.

Amelle said she couldn't believe it when she took the phone call.

"She said she was calling on behalf of Kanye who was furious because I had offended him by not dating him," she revealed.

"I told her that Kanye knew I had a boyfriend, but she wasn't having any of it.

"She said he was not used to being treated like that and I should be more considerate next time I see him."
