A survey by Sheila's Comforts has revealed the nation's top fantasy guys ? and few will be surprised to learn that there are more than a handful of footballers and actors among the top spots!

Frank Lampard and David Beckham topped the 'most desired' list, taking 40 per cent of the vote between them.

Following close behind came two of the nation's favourite actors, Johnny Depp and Daniel Craig, while only three per cent of girls named Jude Law as their best fantasy, although the news that he is now back on the market could change that.

Girls also revealed that the profession they are most likely to fantasise about is firemen, with those sexy uniforms and that air of bravery apparently giving 52 per cent of us a thrill.

Gardeners also feature in the top five professions to fantasise about, undoubtedly due in no small part to Jesse Metcalfe's most welcome appearances on one lucky Desperate Housewife's front lawn!
