Amanda Bate, smile expert at Oral-B Vitality, comments: "A smile says you are approachable, confident and know how to communicate, so it makes sense that you'll get upgraded treatment when you grin.

"The best way to deliver a flirty smile is to bend your head slightly to one side with the nearest eyebrow to your target lifted slightly," she advises.

However, Amanda suggests avoiding a full-faced grin "to stop yourself looking too cheesy"!
