"I'd been single for a while and was finding it hard to meet men in a bar or club, so online was the natural choice for me. I met Alex almost straight away and we spent hours talking every day and I felt very quickly I'd like to meet him.

"I discussed everything with my family and friends and was never embarrassed that I resorted to online dating as everyone else is doing it. Now Alex and I are discussing moving in with each other after Christmas and I've never been so happy."
