I want it all, and I want it now
The dating game can be tough. No-one really wants to be a never-ending dater, but every person wants to find someone they can settle down with.
That doesn't mean that you can blow someone off on a date without even giving them a chance.
We all know that sparks can fly pretty quickly, but sometimes that 'special something' needs time to grow.
Writing in the Daily Mail, recently single James Silver found that the dating game at the moment is all about getting results immediately and he doesn't like it.
One friend of his was on a date with a guy who didn't even make it to the end of the date because he couldn't envisage himself with her.
James writes: "The new dating milieu is best summed-up by the experience of a friend who met a guy for a date. She wasn't sure whether she even fancied him and the conversation didn't exactly flow.
"Then, ten minutes in he got to his feet and announced, "Sorry, but this isn't for me", leaving her spluttering in her drink and nearly falling off her bar-stool. Even the barman looked shocked.
"Brutal and very rude, certainly, but in the new dating environment this is considered perfectly acceptable because at least he didn't lead her on." Complete this form to search for your perfect guy or girl!
