Driving me round the bend
The true test of a relationship is whether the couple can withstand each other's driving habits, according to a new survey.
Car manufacturer Kia discovered that one in five relationships end after an argument in the car.
It seems that road rage is not always targetted towards other drivers, but towards whoever is sitting in the passenger or driver's seat ? especially when that driver or passenger is your boyfriend or girlfriend.
Brits can't stand the way their partner drives and the irritating habits that they develop, according to Kia's research.
This is why Kia has started an innovative method of dating ? drive dating. It's just like speed dating but takes place in a car.
Paul Williams, managing director of Kia Motors (UK), said: "Arguing in the car is a common experience that many couples go through.
"We wanted to help couples at the earliest stages of their relationship find out how well suited they are on the road, as well as off.
"Regular dating events can often feel enforced and awkward so we set out to create an event that mirrored a real life situation and allowed single people to 'road test' their relationship ? literally!"
