Fairy tales do come true, it seems, and no one is more aware of this than Chantelle Houghton.

Just a few months ago, no-one had heard of her, but the Essex blonde went on to beat off a house full of celebrity heavyweights to be crowned winner of reality TV show Celebrity Big Brother.

And after dating Ordinary Boys singer Preston for what seems like a milli-second, the smitten couple are now engaged.

It seems that changing a mind is a lady's prerogative, as Chantelle says her Mr Right has altered her ideas about marriage.

She told New! magazine: ""The thing is, I'd never ever thought about marriage before. It wasn't something that I ever thought I'd do, I really didn't. Like if someone had asked me six months ago whether I'd get married, my answer would have been a complete and utter no."

Chantelle's no longer shy about her feelings for her beau as she also told the magazine: "In the interviews I've done so far, I've always just said we're spending time together and no more than that, but in this interview I'm going to turn around and actually say it: I love him!"
