Older people need love too
You might be forgiven for thinking that all old people are technophobes.
But one older lady has dispelled this stereotype and is demonstrating that it's never too late to use the internet for dating.
Joan Rivers, who lost her husband, British producer Edgar Rosenberg, in 1987, has created a profile on an online dating site to try and bag herself a man.
Thanks to help from her assistant Matt Stewart, she's trying to reach out to her Mr Right across the ether.
The 72-year-old is looking for someone aged between 65 and 75, rather than a toy boy.
But things aren't going too well on the online dating front yet as she hasn't found the man of her dreams.
She said: "We were hoping to meet Mr Right. We didn't even get a wink.
"Maybe there is somebody sitting out there in the east side of New York who's right for me."
Although she hasn't had any luck yet, she's still pressing on to try and find out if the internet can connect her with the love of her life.
