Girls who have a good sense of humour are successful at attracting guys, according to a Hollywood beauty.

Eva Longoria, of Desperate Housewives fame, said that growing up she was an "ugly duckling" and the only thing she had to attract the guys was her funniness.

"I was the ugly one. So I had to develop something else about me and that was my humour," she told New Woman magazine.
