With X-Factor having been voted the best entertainment programme at the National TV Awards, boyish contestant Shayne can't believe his luck with the ladies.

The soon-to-be star has had girls all over the country flocking to chat to him and wanting to date him.

But it seems that this is all part of the music competition package.

"The producers had warned me that there would be temptation," Shayne told Heat magazine.

But what kind of girl does the 21-year-old singer like? It seems he's a fan of both blondes and brunettes, telling the magazine that he quite fancies blonde babe Jennifer Ellison.

He did say, however: "I'm quite into brunettes now ? and there's something about a brown-eyed girl."
