Christmas is traditionally a time to snuggle up and indulge in all things romantic, but when it comes to dating, girls seem to favour the ex-boyfriend over the current flame.

Well, that's how it is with the public's perception of Hollywood, it seems.

At a Christmas party, most girls would rather chat to Brad Pitt than Jennifer Aniston's current beau, Vince Vaughn. Vince lost out by getting just 22 per cent of a Lifetime Television poll, compared to hunky Brad's 78 per cent.

It's not just a case of who's better looking either. Ashton Kutcher is considered one of Hollywood's hottest young stars, but respondents in the poll said they preferred action star Bruce Willis.

Bruce was married to Ashton's wife, Demi Moore, for 11 years and it seems that he's still a favourite in the eyes of the female public.

So, girls, when it comes to that potential smooch under the mistletoe, stop and think whether your new guy matches up to your former flame.
