Hollywood couples love the simple life, it seems. Having a chat, snuggling up together on the sofa and giving each other presents are cute ways for loved-up couples to show their affection.

For actress, Cameron Diaz, a good relationship is all about feeling like you're loved and that you mean something to the other person.

And what better way to show your love than by giving tokens of affection, Cameron told Heat.

"[It's important that] someone makes you feel like, you know, they're thinking of you or that you make them feel a certain way or that you make them feel a certain way."

She said that getting a present from your guy is him saying: "You're special to me."

Little signs of affection like just picking up the phone say: "You know what? You make me feel good."

"You can't beat that," she says.
