Making up for breaking up
Breaking up is hard to do, but a few tried and tested tricks could make dealing with heartbreak a little bit easier.
Having gone through a very public split from hubby Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston is smiling again.
The actress dealt with her heartbreak by talking to friends and her therapist about what went wrong. She also made a decision to actively move on.
However, she is not jumping into a new relationship, even though rumours are flying that she is dating Vince Vaughn, her co-star of the aptly named comedy she filmed earlier this year, The Break Up.
But the wise woman says: "He's delicious and funny. He's got all the colours of the rainbow. But I don't want to be a rebound girl. I feel like it will happen when it happens."
Apart from sussing out what you really want from life and relationships, a girl coming out of a relationship has every right to spend even more time on pampering herself.
Lots of women like changing their image completely. Sienna Miller, following the reported split from fianc? Jude Law, did just that.
The Layer Cake beauty decided to chop off her long blonde tresses and now sports a funky bob.
Jennifer told Oprah Winfrey the best part of life after Brad is the unknown.
"I love the discovery of what will be happening and just kind of sitting back and not knowing."
So do whatever it takes to cheer yourself up after dumping someone or being dumped (stop short of revenge though). Pick up your chin and smile at the world your fabulous future is waiting!
