Hot or not?
The saying goes "one woman's pauper is another woman's prince", and when it comes to personal taste on looks this could not be more true.
Thank heavens, or gyms and health food shops would be putting our favourite chocolate and junk food joints out of business as we attempt to maintain physical perfection.
Made-it-in-a-minute glamour model Abi Titmuss was quoted recently saying: "You know, Danny DeVito could pull me if he made me laugh, was confident and a bit sexy."
Alright, so given some of her relationship history not all of us are likely to relate to Ms Titmuss' experience, but what about Geri Halliwell?
She says: "I don't think a six pack is on the menu, but I like someone who is physical and can charge around as much as me. But I don't mind if he has a bit of a belly on him."
Ms Halliwell has obviously realised that accepting someone else's physical imperfections makes it far easier to feel comfortable with our own.
Saying that though, Jennifer Lopez clearly thinks herself pretty perfect, as she says: "Men disgust me if they don't have a nice smile, nice lips and nice teeth, or if they have too many unpleasant habits, like scratching themselves all the time." Well, she has a demanding diva reputation to maintain after all!
Regardless of our preconceived notions of what we think we think our taste in guys is, attraction actually dictates it to us. So don't follow your head when chatting online, follow your reactions, there could be a Danny DeVito lookalike for you around the next corner&
